Elisabeth's Review of Princess Academy By Shannon Hale
I read the book Princess Academy, by Shannon Hale, the book was about this girl about the age of a seventh grader, in the mountains of a far away land, in the mid-evil times. Her name is Miri, she is a small little girl who loves to play outside and loves her family. Miri is a small little flower colored pink and is small just like Miri. This story is about the medieval times when this prince has gotten to the age and needs a wife. The stories main plot is about quarry workers and selling pieces of rock to merchants and getting the money they need in order to stay alive, Miri’s two secrets that she keeps with her wherever she goes are the secret of liking a skinnish funny little boy who all the girls have always liked, but Miri has caught his eye. One day when merchants were suppose to come, a royal coach came with a royal message, from his highness. The message read,” Please tell all of the girls in this town to please attend the Princess Academy”. All of the girls suddenly smirk in the amazement that now will carry with them through all eternity. Next thing Miri finds out is that she is walking with all of the girls from the town, to where they will now call their second home. The teacher for this Princess Academy is this old grouchy lady named Olana. Not even half through the first day of Princess school all of the girls have now figured out that this will not do and that they need to find out a way to leave the wretched place. Miri is now going back and forth and back and forth on if she wants to continue training to be princess or is she breaking Peter’s heart by even just going to Princess Academy. Read this book and find out what Miri will do and how she will decide which path she will take?

Chad's Review of Rush Revere and The Brave Pilgrims Rush Limbaugh
The main characters of Rush Revere and The Brave Pilgrims are Rush Revere, Tommy, Freedom, and Liberty. The setting of my book is Plimoth Plantation, the Mayflower, and a school. Rush Revere and The Brave Pilgrims is about a history teacher named Rush Revere and his talking horse who can time travel to any in history event that relates to America and can turn invisible. Rush Revere is assigned to be a substitute at a school. To help him, is his horse Liberty. Rush tells his class that he is going to show them a movie, and he is just going out in the hall for a second. When Rush is in the hall, Liberty and Rush time travel to a historical event. While jumping through the time portal, Rush video tapes the event on his phone. Rush has set up his phone camera to stream on a projector, so the class can see what Rush is seeing. Soon, Rush is figured out by two students, named Tommy and Freedom. Rush takes the two students on his time travel adventures to show them American history. Unfortunately, the whole class finds out about Liberty’s powers too. Rush Limbaugh, the author is trying to teach the reader about the truth of American History. Rush thinks it is extremely important to educate young people about the truth of American history. Since Rush values this concept so much he has wrote two childrens books and is a new one is coming in the near future. Rush has become a #1 New York Times bestselling author. I really liked to book. It taught history in a fun way that kept me reading.

The Glass Sentence Book Review...
Jacklyn
The Glass sentence by S.E. Grove
Genre: Historical Fiction
Main Character: Sophia Tims
Setting: 1891, Boston MA
Summary: Sophia is the niece of a famous cartloger. Shadrack is her uncle. 100 years earlier the Great Disruption threw all the continents into different time periods, dating as far back as the dinosaur age to the distant future. 10 years ago Sophia’s parents disappear while exploring an unknown age. When Sophia is shown about memory maps, her world changes. When Shadrack tells her to get supplies for finding her parents, she returns to find him kidnapped. The only clue he left her was a glass sheet. With the help of her new friend Theo they travel across America in search of her uncle. She soon learns that the greatest danger that could wipe out humanity is on it’s way to destroy what she holds dear. The only way to reverse it the object he left for her.
I think the author is trying to tell us that when things go wrong all you have to do is look for the clue.
I thought the book was great! It was very well done, how she puts the world together and make the characters come to life. I would recommend this book to anyone
